You can become a member of Global Credit Union if you are affiliated with a company, organization, or community that have requested that Global serve their employees or members, or are employed by the Department of Defense. You may also qualify by being related to someone who is qualified to join.

Most people who live or work in Alaska, Washington, Northern Idaho, California's San Bernardino County, or Arizona's Maricopa County can qualify for membership. 

Share accounts such as checking, savings, money markets, and certificates, are federally insured to at least $250,000 by the NCUA, an agency of the U.S. government. This includes accounts for individuals, businesses, organizations, associations, and public units.

You must be 13 years old to establish a checking account and Visa^® Debit card, but a parent must consent to both. There is no length of time requirement the checking account must be opened for prior to being issued a debit card.

Global only conducts business in English at this time. We make every effort to ensure members are aware of this policy by offering all written materials such as applications, disclosures, and brochures in English only.

Can I still request rolls of pennies?
While pennies are not being removed from circulation, availability may be limited. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that all requests for rolls of pennies will be fulfilled.

Can I still spend and receive pennies?
We will continue to accept pennies for deposits, payments, and cash transactions. If we run out of pennies, cash payouts may be rounded to the nearest five cents. This could vary by location and day. We encourage you to use digital or card payment options when available.
